Sul frontespizio segue l'indicazione di edizione: "Paul being dead, yet speaketh thus. Heb. xi. 4. As, by the offence of one, judgment came upon all men to condemnation, even so, by the righteousness of one, the free gift came upon all men, unto justification of life. Rom. v. 18. The same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. Rom. x. 12. God our saviour will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth; for there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all. ! Tim. ii. 4, 5, 6. The living God is the saviour of all men, especially of those that believe. 1 Tim. iv. 10. The grace of God, which bringeth salvation, hath appeared unto all men. Tit. ii. 12. Jesus was crowned with glory and honour, that he, by the grace of God, should taste death for every man. Heb. ii. 9."
